We hear a lot of buzz about how Fortnite is challenging the bar of traditional entertainment to see who can be bigger than Disney and produce the most popular and popular source of entertainment.

In some ways, it’s just what it appears to be – a wordplay on the term “epic”, referring to some of the most epic battles in the game. But what a lot of people forget is that it’s not just the battles that do that, but the very fact that there are people involved in them.

However, if you think that gaming – especially multiplayer games, such as Fortnite – are limited by just the space that there is, you’re not going to agree with its developer Epic Games when they say that Fortnite “has more to do with the production of an ecosystem than any one of its features”.

That ecosystem includes pets and other animals, which Epic Games introduced in the latest update to the game. There are three different kinds of pets that can now be found in the game, called Snipperclips, Togglechips, and Laramies.

“These new pets are small, disposable, and dance to their own beat. They help keep you company, grow your stockpile of items, and enhance your in-game experience with quirky backgrounds and colorful icons,” says the Fortnite team in a description of the pets.

Each of the three new pets has a unique origin story, with the Snipperclips being the black and white fox dog and the Togglechips being the blue mouse creature. The Laramie. is the strangest of the bunch, with its name coming from the fact that it “appears to have met its demise when it was swallowed by a lemon.”

Those players will have to find some free time to get over to the new Fortnite locations to obtain Laramie and Snipperclips. They have to show up in a map area, before they can get the pets, which changes every time they go back into the game.
