Fortnite is returning to the number one spot on Apple’s App Store, according to Game Informer. Here’s why.

Fortnite has done it again, getting back into the number one spot on Apple’s App Store after a hiccup in August where the title was number two.

The hotly-anticipated title, which recently surpassed 1 billion downloads on all platforms, brought in 1.28 billion downloads over the last few weeks, according to a Gamespot report. Fortnite beat The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It’s not far behind Game of Thrones and Clash Royale.

Activision said Fortnite grossed $99 million for Epic Games in August, an increase of almost $15 million. The September 19 update brought free updates, bringing the Prisoner map to real life landmarks, the addition of banner wall vignettes and watch Tower cam.

The company also said players across Asia and South America had played Fortnite for the first time ever.

Destiny 2 is coming soon on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC

Last week, we got a tease of Destiny 2: Forsaken at Sony’s Gamescom event. Following the call for all gamers to return to Destiny 2, Activision released the full trailer and images for the new Forsaken game. Here are the most exciting details:

A new sub-game in the universe

The Reef is getting an activity called Snowspeeder, which will allow players to build defenses and live a more active life in the undersea free roam zone.

Embrace your sweet, sweet dragons

The Forsaken trailer revealed that the Hive and Cabal have a ton of new heroes, and fans will be able to tame them and call on their help to defeat different enemies.

More game modes, including Strikes and daily challenges

In the previous Destiny 2 game, there were just a handful of game modes. Forsaken will have more options like those in Destiny 1.

Special rewards for finding those secret stuff gems

Players will receive a daily reward if they find a single secret piece of fruit on-screen or can manage to complete one of the weekly activities.
