The content needs to reflect your needs and concerns and needs of your audience.When you take a step back and consider what your overall purpose is for a business, you start to look at the web as a big living organism and say: If I am interested in how content is used, how is it used, who owns it, how is it used, how do people find it, for what type of services, how much is it cost to use it? You need to think about what it needs to achieve for your business first before you create content that will perform. Setting up the Product Lifecycle
This is the first time I’m going to be explaining the product lifecycle to you. So please treat me respectfully if I did a bad job and you have a long experience with the previous blog posts. Let’s have a look at what I’m going to tell you. In my previous blog posts (kind of like my job description) I have tried to walk my visitors through the process of buying a product or service and then using marketing funnel analysis to understand why. In step 3 we talk about the problem we’re trying to solve, the initial consideration, research and lead through the buyer journey. So I started looking at the products we sold as a strategy for what’s called a life cycle. I’m going to discuss this in phases but the first phase happens during the product life cycle. In this next phase (this time) I’m going to be explaining in a more technical detail how the Product & Business Explorer works, the problems that we resolve with it and the different steps along the way. Keep in mind we’re not going to solve all your problems, we have to figure them out one at a time as we go along. Our Product Managers (PMs) take on the task of creating these timelines which we then follow along with the wizardly tools we use. Our PMs start with a product budget and work their way to the most critical actions that are likely to effect your time within the first 6 months. (I’m actually going to break them into four phases. There are two ways you can visualize the data in your systems. The easiest, if not the fastest way to visualize data is to use a Markdown. Markdown is a collection of JSON files that represents the variables that should populate that data table. You can think of the Markdown as something you are able to change dynamically, and its data will be all in a jpeg format. Then, with your data table inside the Markdown, you create an action code value for that data table and show it in your app. From that you can view all your data tables or, alternatively, use the Data Table view to have a complete view of your account for any action you might have wanted to take, like adding a new product.
