It’s all about the data — but first, how do you start collecting it?

Why is the revenue you were hoping to generate from your company content not flowing in?

Content marketing is a great way to build your reputation and increase awareness of your business. The revenue you were hoping to generate from your company content isn’t flowing in because your content is just not working. Like many things in life, not having enough data is the main reason why your content strategy isn’t working and that’s why you’re just not making a dent in your revenue numbers.
I think it’s important to understand that this is not an issue just with creative content marketing. In fact, all content marketing strategies aren’t failing. A lot of companies jump into their company’s social media accounts and pay the hourly cost of design. While this type of content marketing strategy might work in the short term, that does not mean it’s going to drive revenue. Without some data to back up your content marketing strategy, you are more susceptible to the effects of Facebook’s algorithm changes. If you’re seeing most of your followers follow you once a month or less, then you need to think long and hard about what your content strategy is driving.
When getting your company involved in paid online content marketing, you can analyze your performance from various sources like Facebook or Instagram. There are many free tools out there as well, such as the ones provided by Google Analytics, that will enable you to evaluate your results.
If you have been preaching your content content strategy, perhaps you are seeing your followers become more frequent visitors but not necessarily your top revenue generator. You might be able to locate why your content is not bringing in revenue. It could be that the content you’re putting out doesn’t have the right positioning, or that there isn’t enough content to attract audiences to the specific products and services you offer. The goal is to build your following by following these 5 steps:
