What are you most passionate about in your yoga practice?

What are you most passionate about in your yoga practice?

For the beginner, yoga can be hard. With so many different styles and variations and sometimes, just “her”. But the truth is it’s actually so easy. Try some of these new techniques so that it becomes your new regular routine—lifestyle! Start off by finding a one-on-one model for yourself. Don’t be scared to call a school or yoga studio that specializes in this. Your activity is a personal journey, and can be as empowering as it is isolating. Communication on the spiritual journey is a key part of the experience. So the longer you can learn to really and completely let go, the better it is for your body. You can ask an instructor for vice or watch videos and tutorials on youtube. Then find your next teachable moment. Maybe it is to invite a group of friends to your class. What you want to do is to find a partner for you and really make this group where you can work together as a community. Back in the day, we would bring our chair to a bar. We would have an apple martini. We would sit and talk. Our friends would also be there. They wanted to know about you, of course, they want to hear from you. But when the lights come on, you really, really shut off and just practice with your eyes closed. That’s the time to zone in a little bit. Enjoy the meditative feeling because that is the time to be full-on in the meditation. Listen to your breathing. Go away. Snuggle up in your doorway and just know that you have time to myself. Go out at sunset. You don’t have to go into the studio. Just go outside for a walk and be present with life. Let go of your fear of not being able to keep up with that class. Make room for yourself, and make room for you to connect with someone. Be there for your yogastudio.com’>Yoga partner. My partner usually reminds me of the energy of the moon. And it’s exactly what I want to do. I want to feel amazing. For me it’s about being present with my partner. We give our blood. We let our body our sweat. It’s a beautiful thing. An experienced teacher will help you learn the angles that are going to work for you. Figure out exactly what kind of yoga poses you like. Find your favorite poses, and start them and play with them. Make a dedicated space. Even if your own class isn’t big enough, find somewhere where you can get away to. It could be like a bunch of ear buds. I’ll put a text on my phone, and then I’ll go into my space. I love to take a nap, just like we were at home. I like space. I find it really deep and good. If you have never been to yoga, I’m really thankful that you’re having this experience for the first time. It really is magical and incredible. It’s the grandest venture. Because of that, you are really able to connect with everyone else and find your own place and you’re allowed to relax into each other. So bring your friends. Bring your family. Find a meditation spot.Show your kids and your kids they are a part of this journey that you are on together. And your friends and family will want to join in. It’s awesome for each other and just all of the happiness just flows. Continue with yoga, as many people are interested in the yoga lifestyle. It is really amazing to feel the music just drop in. I think it’s a connection to the spiritual journey. When you are exposed to that kind of music, you go with it. If you listen, you know who’s that. You know how they sound. When you are just watching music from the videos on YouTube and every once in a while you want to step away, right? The visual part of it is easy to do when there are the images you want to see. Take these examples of just colorful wellness on our YouTube channel. Take clips of different bodies moving, including the men, women, guys and the girls. Maybe our younger people who are about to be teenagers or I’ve got a 12-year-old who really likes music now and she’s constantly pointing at the men dancing. But even then, they are still coming at it with such a vibrant openness. I love watching it. Not only does that make me curious to know who they are and what’s going on for them, but it gives them such a big influence. Their energy is contagious. The ones that actually become the anti-media voices, and that actually talk to their kids about the difference between real life and on the internet are the ones who get it. Women who are not mindful of what is going on in their world are not aware of what their kids might be going through. You don’t want your kids to think that just because of a glass ceiling it will be okay, but there is room for healthy transition, healthy growth. If you are really conscious that this is positive for your kids, you want them to try new things and continue to learn in new ways.

Yes, I think the hourlong yoga session is also important. I think we live in this world, we are connected to the things that we do. And when we train our bodies to learn what we do in the practice of yoga, and if it enables us to contribute to our community, then it’s a practice that is very meaningful to us, and something that I want to cultivate in my life.

The flip side of that coin is to be there, not to put yourself in the back to take all those breaks that the hourlong yoga class takes. The goal is to not just be in a place where we allow everything we experience to be consumed by ego. Often times we will know what our food, our workspace, our relationships, everything we see, and that can get us in a place of depression or suffering. Every human being has a need for some kind of mental wellness to reduce their suffering or physical self-sustaining qualities. I think all of us need that, but how we do it is always up to us.

We encourage our kids to pursue their interests. They can sometimes find ways to get into something like yoga that they didn’t know they wanted to be involved in before they started a yoga journey with us. In just the past year we have introduced 32 kids and two girls to an interest and organically it has continued. The first year it was a field trip to Ly Foot Asher’s just to try it out. Next year it was introducing the parents to it.

We all feel more connected to our community when we are learning yoga, because we’re hearing about what our parents are doing as well as the ults within our community who are figuring out a way to implement a different yoga practice or yoga lifestyle in their lives. That information and feeling in our community is an enormous part of the justment. For both men and women, education is key to everything we do. This will be the one of my final pieces because it’s called SmartThumb. SmartThumb is part of our content series about women who find great success in taking care of themselves and the women and girls in their lives, and it was one of the most well received posts. When you follow us on YouTube you are a part of this story that we tell. It is just inspiring to be a part of something that is greater than ourselves. It will be exciting to share and show people how this journey starts with our kids.

5 Morning Ways To Start Meditating

Being mindful and focused on relaxation with proper movement practice remains one of the most effective ways to cultivate feelings of happiness and presence in your life. And yet we know that many people struggle with changing the way they practice yoga and more specifically the time of day when they’re most comfortable. Meditation is often the first class in the morning where we practice our breath as we go, and as I keep exploring ways to integrate yoga and meditation into my daily routines, I notice the transition that occurs in this category of exercise become more and more seamless. Switching from a full practice to a meditation class can help set me up to experience a more natural state of mind when I want to center my mind throughout the day. Another way to prepare myself to practice meditation/yoga is to have a body-mind complete preparation before I start or during the practice to increase awareness for what is going on in the world around me. When I travel or take a few days off for other activities that requires me to travel, I like to start with a practice of mindfulness that emphasizes bringing in more of an inner balance with my body. I like to find a quiet space, outside during the day or evening, and meditate for a few minutes. Wherever you find your relaxation space, please be mindful of your environment and allow yourself time to take a breath in the flow. But when you’re truly ready to add a mindful movement practice into your already busy lifestyle, you’ll need to think about how you can make the most of it.The right time of day to meditate or practice yoga really depends on your energy levels and capacity to take care of yourself. The easiest way to figure out the best times for you to practice yoga or meditation is to take some time out of your day to find places where you can get in the space. On the other hand, for those people who do yoga in the day where most don’t have a traditional gym, there is no time slot that works best for them. The other thing to look for is the time of day where the practice works best for you and your body. We know one of the best ways to transform your life is to make the most of your time every day. In the morning, have a light meditation on your mat or do a little yoga in bed to rest your mind and body. A daily meditation practice with relaxation music keeps you centered and helps you shift your focus to the emotions of the day and not what went wrong last night.
